Dorsey Alston launches multi-platform mobile application built by Sound Enterprises
Mobile users can now use their smart phones to search for Dorsey Alston properties, view their saved listings and view Dorsey Alston agent information. The app has intelligence to recognize which device is viewing it, whether an iPhone, iPod Touch, Blackberry, Palm Pre, Windows mobile device, Android or other smart phone.
For iPhone and Touch, the user interface is the familiar style of other "iDevice" applications. An additional feature for iDevice users is the ability to search for properties from their current locations. Taking advantage of the GPS function, the user can say "Show me all properties within five miles of my current location" and within seconds, the user has a list of properties within a requested range.
