 Lunch for LearnersSummary: Develop an online ordering system for school lunches at a private school in Atlanta. Timeline: one month.The challenge: Lunch for Learners came to Sound Enterprises in mid November 2009 with a concept and wanted the first phase of the system up and running by January 1, 2010. The system was to give parents the ability to go online and select a healthy lunch for their child, pay for it and have it delivered diectly to their child's classroom. Sound Enterprises was able to build the system and launch it on time. The system interfaces with a local caterer so that the caterer can print off daily fulfillment reports and can also generate labels to be afixed to the proper lunches. Additional reports are available at the school level and the Lunch for Learners adminsitrative level. Administrative functions are available for adding additional menu items, viewing account information, etc. The system was integrated seamlessly into PayPal's Website Pro API so that the user never has to leave the site nor have a PayPal account.
